Rewind...National Day of Prayer

Our National Day of Prayer is officially the first Thursday of May each year. This is the day in which all faiths are invited to pray for our nation.

With the unrest and uncertainty that is now present in America as a result of our recent presidential election, I’m calling for a rewind of our National Day of Prayer. Let’s rewind every day and truly seek God for peace and stability on all fronts for the US.

‘Our satisfaction in remaining religious without being fully committed to living out the truths of Your Word has caused us to become co-conspirators with the forces of evil that are destroying us as a society.’

This confession is included in the 2016 National Prayer composed by Dr. Tony Evans. This prayer is one of thanksgiving, repentance and praise. It expresses sentiments that reflect the cries of my heart on a daily basis.
